Daniel
Pabahakar
has a deep grounding in both Hindustani and
Carnatic music. He is a desciple of Shri
Sachhidanand Phadke of Pune, India. He has been playing Tabla since the age of
seven. Daniel is an excellent tabla player, he has accompanied Pt.Ravi Shankar, Pt.Hari
Prasad Chaurasia, P. Sushila, S.P.Balasubrahmanyam, Asha Khadilkar, Mallika
Pukharaj, Minu Purushotham, Hari Om Sharan in India and USA. He also
plays accordion, guitar and sitar. He has composed music and directed orchestras for several music albums.
He produces a weekly radio program called Aaradhana for a local
radio station.
